The third “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian security” was held on June 16-17th of 2015. A total of 132 delegates from Mongolia, Russia, China, Japan, ROK, DPRK, United States, Germany, France, India, Australia, United Kingdom as well as delegates from the United Nations, the European Union and the International Committee of the Red Cross attended the conference elevating the importance of the initiative.
During the conference experts and scholars touched upon the subjects of current security situation in Northeast Asia, the challenges and risks it faces, potential steps toward cultivating mutual understanding and trust in the region, supporting economic cooperation and the development of infrastructure connectivity. Furthermore, participating scholars for the very first time shared their knowledge and practical experiences to forge cooperation on environmental protection and disaster management in the region.
